Travel Expenses

Prior to traveling to a meet, the coaching staff will provide its cost of travel expenses, meal per diems, and lodging to the parents/guardians of the divers. The total cost will be equally divided among the divers eligible to participate in the meet. Funds available in the diver's NDC Boosters account may be used to offset all or part of this cost. Failure to provide these funds by the due date may result in the diver being removed from the competition, and meet fees that have been paid will not be refunded.

Coaching fees are in addition to travel expenses, and will not be subsidized by the NDC Booster account. When Nebraska Diving Club hosts a meet, there will not be any coaching fees. When traveling to away meets, there will be a coaching fee in addition to the coach's travel expenses at the rate of $25 per child per day.

Additional Information about Fees

Annual Registration: The Annual registration fee is paid upon joining or on September 1 of each year. This fee covers Administrative costs of Nebraska Diving Club as well as registration with United States Diving and/or AAU, as appropriate.

Additional Expenses: Elite and Junior Elite divers are required to obtain a team suit and warm ups to wear at meets. Divers are responsible for their own meet fees and travel expenses to meets. Coaches travel expenses are divided among those divers attending meets.

Fundraising: Nebraska Diving Club continually works toward creative team fundraising. The NDC Boosters will use funds raised to purchase new equipment for the club as well as subsidize coach travel expenses and meet costs.

Volunteering: NDC Boosters provide numerous opportunities for families to volunteer at meets, fundraisers, and other functions. Working a meet may involve helping with hospitality, promotional events, scoring tables, etc. Families wishing to do so may make a donation to "buy out" their volunteer obligations.
